Revamped cast members...
« on: February 22, 2014, 08:41:20 PM »
Practically sold off all my watches sometime late last year...here is the present line-up.

Nothing out of the ordinary...hence no need to name each model, same predictable stuff...

Hi Tyler...well u are right. I regard this as my first tree...with a rolex sports and reverso branches
Somehow or rather, there is this need to plant another tree with branches to be made up at least a watch from each 'full-fledged manufacture' that I feel worthy to have.
Well I guess talking to you 2 years ago at the MWF annual dinner did inspire me.

Regards...Wan.

2 years!! Has it been that long? LOL

I agree. It's much more fulfilling to collect this way. One really have to scrutinize and stay focus when it comes to new purchase. However he also has the added pleasure of theme collection. Can't have that if we just buy whatever we please or a collection consist of lots of different brands.

You seem to be well on your way.

Regard
Tyler

Looks like a very dedicated collection with a theme (or in this case, 2 themes) and that dives it depth. Thanks for sharing!

Driving home happy...with a driver's watch

Got this a few hours ago...
Vacheron Constantin Historique American 1921 – dubbed as the driver’s watch (that explains the slant of the dial)

I did not want to open to many new topics...so all future watches will end up in this thread...but with a different `subject' or heading.

Congrats sir.

I'm really smitten by this vc and the patrimony day date retrograde.

Amazing choice and wear it in good health.
